High Cholesterol
John Christensen

Dear Dr. Ing,
It is hard to believe that it was almost one year ago that I had the good fortune to participate in your wonderful program, the result of which has been most extraordinary.
I am happy to report that I have been able to stay on the diet particularly the no meat part, moreover, my cholesterol has gone from 182 to 122. In addition to that, my system has been so cleaned out that I no longer find myself short of breath no matter how long or hard the activity. Several of my heart medications have been terminated.
My cardiologist is in total disbelief and wanted to know the name and address of the Weimar Institute. He had initially told me that the program sounded pretty good, however, that few people would be able to stay on that kind of a diet. I have also been able to maintain my current weight of 175lbs.
I would like to thank you and your staff for all the great care and personal attention given to me while at Weimar.
Sincerely yours,
John H. Christensen

For many, the American dream has turned into a nightmare. Instead of enjoying life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, they're experiencing declining health, bondage to rising medical expenses, and the pursuit of the latest wonder drug.
What many Americans fail to realize, and what all the latest medical research is showing, is that lifestyle, rather than a bad draw in the genetic pool, is the leading cause of America's health problems. One
physician put it this way, "Genetics is the gun. Lifestyle pulls the trigger."
Genetics, like a loaded gun, doesn't hurt anyone unless you pull the trigger. And it is our couch-potato lifestyle together with our high fat, junk food diet that is pulling the trigger on our health.
The good news is that shattered dreams can be restored. Lifestyle medicine can restore the vigor of health along with a renewed passion for life. Thousands have experienced this at the NEWSTART® Lifestyle Center located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains just minutes from Sacramento and Lake Tahoe.
